Since i am free now,lets get this over and done with.I STILL HAVE 15 full pages of history elec stuff to memorise :X Ok whats this organ transplant thingy about.Basically,the liver plays a major role in digestion.Firstly,it helps to store excess glucose into glycogen.It also helps in deamination,the destroyal of excess amino acids.It also helps in detoxification.Hence,you can imagine what it is like when one of our liver fails.we will be like a walking corpse.we cannot convert excess glucose into glycogen,we cannot detox,we cannot destroy amino acids.So where do these excess glucose and amino acids go if the liver is destroyed?That i do not know,need to ask miss winnie Goh.But what i do know that if you your liver fails,you will sooner or later die. So there is this recent commotion of this Mr Ck tang trying to buy a liver and he was busted.Now,instead of getting a liver to heal his diabeties,he need to suffer 12 months in jail or 10,000 Singapore dollars (7,300 US) fine.Thats saddening as he has to spend the last of his days in jail. I do not think that kidney(organ) donation is not a big deal.However , by law , Organ trading is banned in Singapore and in many other countries to prevent the exploitation of "poor and socially disadvantaged donors who are unable to make informed choices and suffer potential medical risks."If there is someone who would like to buy my kidney,i would sell it to him.After all,we have two kidneys and losing one would be no big deal.I mean if there is a huge sum of money in front of you,who wouldn't want it? I pity mr Tang.He is very unlucky,if i were him,i would do the organ transplant overseas.If i were to do it here,there is a high risk of getting caught! Anyway,he can easily bail himself out.After all,he is MR CK TANG! So to end it,i think that organ transplant is bad,but letting a person die in the cell.THATS WORSE! Current Location: Home

Usually i go to the internet to mostly watch Anime.My favourite anime is One Piece .Hence,thus will be My favourite online media.It will be about some anime website. The second website of my choice is www.Youtube.com I usually go to this website to listen to those songs which i liked and to view the music videos of those songs.I also go to youtube to listen to the songs whose album is not out yet .Currently,Im kinda addicted to this new song by Jonas Brothers called Burnin' Up.So,most of the time i will be listening to this song on youtube since the album is not out yet. Their brand new album is comming out at August 12, 2008.

Actually,Technology is not quite a bad thing.Without technology,we wont be living such a good life like now.With technology,we are able to suft the internet,play games,and even do this USSW!Technology connects people from all around the world together.This causes the World to "shrink".If we cannot go to a place and visit its tourist attractions,we can find it in the internet.Everything we need is in the internet! We need not even need to pay money just for a phone call,we can do it ONLINE!Last time without technology,Life was tough and people had to rely on animals for transportation.However, we can now cut travelling time with technology.
However,is technology is sometimes bad.Small kids can access to porn and this corrupts their mind.This is not a good thing as it will make them addicted and not wanting to go to school.Even computer games can be addictive!Sometimes, a child can even forgo his food and drink just for computer games!Besides there can also be cyber bullies on the internet.Through the internet,People Disregarding the Law can just post something racist or obscene and not be caught.Till now,the culprits who posted the edison Chen pictures are still not caught!People can just get Scot-free!This is not Right!Through the internet,many young girls are tricked and being raped!This however,the police cannot trace.
TECHNOLOGY-Although we do not know it,is a big part of our lives.Without it,there wont be us.Without the advance medical technology that the hospital has,we wont even be successfully born.Therefore,we must always remember and thank technology.
If you want to try a life without technology and feel what it is like,you can always try to go to the slums in India and indonesia.I tell you,it would be tough!Thus,Whether or not we like it,technology is indeed our benefactor!

I spent most of my time of the june holidays doing my project work.The project is about service learning.My group and benedict's group both chose helping the zoo as being zoo ambassadors.(somewhat like tour guides),so we went to the zoo together.First,we had to attend 2 days of training .It was quite interesting and we can take a look behind the scenes.It was also exciting as we can tour the zoo freely after the training.Besides,after the traning,we dined out at a cool and cheap restaurant called Sumo House.Sumo House was quite like a restaurant but it served japanese food cheaply.A salmon teriyaki only costs $4.90 sing.
After the training,we were supposed to take a grading test in order to become a zoo ambassador officially.Unfortunately,i failed the test and had to take a retest.Luckily ,i passed the retest and managed to be an official ZOO AMBASSADOR.After the test,it was quite easy.I was stationed at the fragile forest.It was cooling and i managed to catched many animals,the malaysian flying fox,which is one of the largest bats in the world,The Ringtail lemur,The Sloth and her baby and the hard to spot blue duiker.The blue duiker is like a antelope and the zoo only have one of the blue duiker .I was glad that i did not miss out any of the animals in the fragile forest.

hmm.weird topic, i was expecting a topic about ODEX or something,i presume this is the harder topic.ok here are my views. Firstly,we should be given our own privacy.we should have our rights too.Being Singaporeans,we too are given a freedom of speech.It just isn't right for teachers to poke into our lives outside school.However,in school,the rules are tight.hence we must watch our words.however,outside school,we can do what we want as long as it is not against the law.However,as responsible and grown up people,we should know the limit to stop doing what we are doing.Complaining about teachers on the internet is reasonable,but scolding teachers or being sacastic to teachers on the internet is a NO-NO.
We should know when it goes overboard,such as when you start to become agitated and start posting rude remarks about that teacher.that is when it becomes offensive to the teacher
I feel that posting our complains on forums is a good way to express our unhapiness.Bottling up would cause stress and would result in SUICIDE.i feel that we should post feelings of uncontentness in the forums.Moreover,forums have moderators which will skim through your post and delete it if they feel that it is unappropriate before the teacher/principal finds out.Most forums i go to,the moderators are efficient and would clear any spam in 1 day.
Basically,i would not report someone being abusive online to the school as i feel that they too have to be given a second chance.i would usually tell them to stop scolding/ insulting the teacher.After all,they might not even know that insulting the teachers online would get them into deep trouble as there is NO SUCH SCHOOL RULE in the student handbook.
I find the situation in singapore not quite bad.not many people scold their teachers online.however,there are rare cases about people complaining about teachers on the internet.I hope that the teachers in Singapore would treat student well so that even the few people would not complain about teachers.

i think plastic bags are very useful and it is neccessary for our daily lives.Everywhere you go you will see plastic bags.plastic bags are effective as an marketing tool (people put their advertisments on plastic bags so that their advertisment can be seen everywhere the plastic bag goes) and it can also be a good way to attract customers to buy their products as it is convenient to carry items in a plastic bag.Plastic bags are also cheap to buy and durable,hence making it one of the worlds most useful item. However plastic bags also have its cons.It is not biodegradable and it can only be destroyed by burning it .But by burning it,it would produce lots of Carbon dioxide which will harm the environment.Thats why many people are against the use of plastic bags.If you dont dispose of these plastic bags well,they too will become a environment hazard.It can choke drains and strangle fishes and animals. The substituition for plastic bags,paper bags,are not indeed a good subsituition.Paper bags requires more energy to produce and it also harms the environment if not disposed of well.It also requires wood to make so to produce it,people need to cut down more trees to generate the wood.As trees take in carbon dioxide,the greenhouse gas,it helps to reduce global warming.By cutting down the trees,there will be more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.Paper bags are not durable and it can be torn easily too. In the video,the presenter said that some supermarkets called their customers to return their plastic bags.I think thats an effective way to protect the environment.Singapore should implement this concept instead of a BYOB wednesday.However it can only work if the people are considerate.If an inconsiderate person brings back a dirty plastic bag,the next user will not want to use that plastic bag.However ,as kiasu singaporeans,we are typically lazy.We wouldnt even bring a reuseable bag moreover do we want to go back to that supermarket to return the bag. Everyone has a role to play in reducing the use of plastic bags,we too can play a part in it.
